2027 FSGP FLUTE FAIR
The Flute Fair Committee invites proposals for workshops, clinics, reading sessions, masterclasses, and other non-recital presentations for the 2027 Flute Fair, to be held on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at West Chester University. We especially welcome participatory workshops for youth and adult amateur flute enthusiasts!
Proposal Timeline
December 1, 2026: Submit your proposal using the embedded form below, including a brief biography and any supporting materials.
December 15, 2026: Presenters will be notified of acceptance.
December 31, 2026: Presenters must submit all required background screening applications through FSGP’s volunteer portal.
New for 2027: Background Screening and Training Requirements
Under FSGP’s contract with West Chester University, all adults who may have direct programmatic interaction with minors during our events must have satisfactorily completed the following screenings within the past five years:
Federal Criminal History Record Information Check
Pennsylvania State Criminal History Record Check (Act 34)
PA Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance Check (Act 151)
By submitting a session proposal, you agree to comply with these screening requirements. Screenings will be processed through FSGP’s volunteer portals and paid for by FSGP. Presenters must also complete volunteer training provided by West Chester University and agree to the university’s Code of Conduct.

The Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia will follow any infectious disease policies and guidelines in effect at West Chester University at the time of the event. All presenters and attendees must adhere to these requirements to participate.
