Guest Artist, Martha Conwell Long

Martha Conwell Long is the principal flute of the Baltimore Symphony.  She previously held the same position with the Oregon Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, and the Fort Collins Symphony.  She has appeared as guest principal flute with the Chicago Symphony, the Pacific Symphony, and the São Paulo State Symphony in Brazil. Martha has a Bachelor of Music from the Colburn School and a Graduate Diploma from the New England Conservatory.  Her principal teachers include Jim Walker, Elizabeth Rowe, and Brooks de Wetter-Smith.
