Paul Edmund-Davies
"zooms in" from the UK for this participatory workshop titled
'How to warm up economically and constructively'
or
'Curiosity might well have killed the cat,
but it keeps flute players of all ages and stages very much alive!'
This program is aimed at all ages and stages of flutists.
Paul will provide instruction and exercises in what he refers to as the four pillars of technique, namely:
By focusing on these four areas, with regular and dedicated practice, not only can we maintain our technical facilities on the flute, but we can also steadily improve them.
This presentation is described as a highly interactive and stimulating class that will hopefully keep people enthusiastic and ‘flute active’! There will be time for Q & A throughout the session.
Materials will be made available in advance those that register so that you may practice them ahead of time.
This event is free to members who join or renew their membership by September 26th.
Non-members may participate for a small fee.
