Central Baptist Church, 106 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne, PA
The Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia is excited to be participating in International Make Music Day this year with an afternoon of flute choir music! This event will consist of a flute choir reading session and rehearsal, followed by a short refreshment break, and then a concert presented by a number of active flute choirs. We will conclude the event with all attendees participating in a Mega Flute Choir performance of a piece rehearsed during the reading session.
This event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Musician's Performance Trust Fund. All are welcome to observe the reading session and flute choir concert.
Join us in making a joyful noise!
INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATING ATTENDEES

It is suggested that flutists be of an intermediate level and beyond (i.e. have at least 3 years of playing/music reading experience). Flutists must bring their own music stand.

FLUTE CHOIR GROUP ATTENDEES
The FSGP is seeking active performing flute choirs (max of 5 groups) to participate in this annual Make Music Day event that is free and open to the public.
Following the open flute choir reading session, each group will be allotted 10 minutes of performance time (or longer if less groups apply) in the flute choir concert, followed by a Mega Flute Choir finale.
Conductors of each group may be eligible for compensation through the Musicians Performance Trust Fund, upon approval of the Make Music Alliance. Upon confirmation of your group's participation, Renae Block will reach out to acquire the details needed for the event's MPTF application.
Once the application deadline has passed and the performing groups have been finalized, we will reach out with your group's actual allotted performance time so that you can submit your program information.
