The Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia is excited to be participating again this year in the annual International Make Music Day with an afternoon of flute choir music! This event will consist of a flute choir reading session and rehearsal, followed by a short refreshment break, and then a concert presented by a few active flute choirs. We will conclude the event with all attendees participating in a mass flute choir performance of a piece rehearsed during the reading session.
Schedule:
1:30 - check in and set up
1:45 - reading session
2:30 - refreshment and social break
3:15 - Concert by participating flute choirs, with final piece by all attendees
This event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Musician's Performance Trust Fund. All are welcome to observe the reading session and flute choir concert.
Join us in making a joyful noise!
