Join Us for Our Annual Flute Fair with Guest Artist, Erica Peel!



Saturday March 2nd

at West Chester University of PA

Plans are still being finalized for the 2019 Flute Fair, but it promises to be another great event! 

The website will continue to be updated over the next few weeks, so keep checking back for information. 

Online registration is open and will be available until February 27th


Register for our Festival Flute Choir ASAP! 

As a special treat, Erica Peel will solo with the group at the end of the concert on an arrangement of Mozart's Concerto in G Maj.,K.313, 2nd mvt. Adagio non troppo!  Music can be sent ahead of time if requested on the registration form. Visit the website for details.  


Spots are still available in the Student Honors Flute Choir for the Flute Fair!

As a Reminder, Applications for our Collegiate Artist Competition and Youth Artist Competitions are due by February 10th!

The Flute Choir for the recital will have a few rehearsals in April and May to prep. Exact dates/locations will be announced shortly.

Moxart is holding an open recital on Sunday March 3rd at 2:30 pm. All instruments are welcome to join and perform! More information and who to contact can be found on their flyer

Erica Peel, piccoloist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, will be performing selections from Vivaldi's Piccolo Concerto in C and Mozart's Concerto in G major with the Independence Sinfonia Orchestra on February 24th at 3 pm. More information can be found on our Member's page.

The University of Delaware will be hosting a Flute Spa Day with Patricia George on February 23rd from 9 to 4 pm. More information can be found on our Member's page.

Student News!

Eliza Karpiak, sophomore at Daniel Boone HS (and student of Dr. Lynne Cooksey) made 2nd chair District 10 Band and Orchestra. She has advanced to Region Orchestra. 


Jemi Chan (a student of Dr. Lynne Cooksey and Mindy Bowman) and a sophomore at The Tower Hill School, made 1st chair in Delaware All-State Band and Orchestra.
