2022 FSGP FLUTE FAIR COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY
It is our desire to hold this event in-person. All competitions are virtual again this year.
Due to the uncertain status of the COVID-19 virus and changing CDC guidelines, the Board of Directors of the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia (a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation) has decided to adopt the following safety policy for our 2022 Flute Fair.
All persons (of any age) attending, performing, presenting, or exhibiting, must present proof of full vaccination (including booster) against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken within 48 hours prior to the start of the flute fair. We advise that you plan accordingly as we will be enforcing these safety precautions per FSGP and West Chester University Policy.
Masks (covering both the nose and mouth) are required to be worn in all buildings at West Chester University, regardless of vaccination status. Wind players may remove masks only when rehearsing or performing, but must be physically distanced while engaged in these activities.
We will be monitoring CDC guidelines for additional developments and will update in-person safety protocols as needed and in accordance with West Chester University policy.
Should the Board of Directors decide that holding an in-person event represents a risk to the community, our FSGP 2022 Flute Fair will either be postponed or held virtually (or a combination thereof).
