Call for Proposals

The Flute Fair Committee is currently accepting proposals for workshops, clinics and other presentations for the 2022 Flute Fair to be held on Saturday March 5, 2022.

  • We are particularly seeking proposals for participatory workshops with topics of general interest to amateur flutists, teachers and students.
  • Presentations may not exceed 50 minutes in length.

  • Proposals for  performances may not exceed 10 minutes (as these will be part of our Noontime Concert).
  • Please complete the proposals form, including short bio and any supporting materials via the embedded form below by November 30th.

We plan to hold this event in-person (with the exception of competitions, which will be virtual).

Due to the uncertain status of the COVID-19 virus and changing CDC guidelines, the Board of Directors of the Flute Society of Greater Philadelphia (a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation) has decided to adopt the following safety policy for our 2022 Flute Fair.

All persons (of any age) attending, performing, presenting, or exhibiting, must present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken within 72 hours of the start of the flute fair.

Masks (covering both the nose and mouth) are required to be worn in all buildings at West Chester University, regardless of vaccination status.

We will be monitoring CDC guidelines for additional developments and will update in-person safety protocols as needed and in accordance with West Chester University policy.

If it is not possible to hold a safe in-person event, the FSGP 2022 Flute Fair will be held virtually.
